JANUARY 2018

VILLAGE MEETING - 17.01.18 8PM

We held our open village meeting on Wednesday 17th January with over 50 people attending and a further 12 sending apologies. We took this opportunity to show a PowerPoint presentation updating everyone on our progress so far and to go into further details regarding our application to the Community Share Booster Scheme. This scheme offer to match-fund any money raised through the sale of shares, meaning that if our application is successful we could potentially DOUBLE the amount of money we raise with our Share Offer! Unfortunately this meant we had to delay our share offer launch, but it seemed like far too good an opportunity to miss out on. We are hoping to hear whether we qualify for this additional funding within the next six weeks.

VILLAGE MEETING FOLLOW UP - 20.01.18

Some of the committee were on hand at the village hall between 9am and 12pm on Saturday morning for a follow up from our January 17th village meeting. Those who were unable to make it to the meeting on Wednesday night were able catch up on all the news, as well as fill out our pre-purchase pledge forms. If you are planning to buy shares when our share offer goes lives you can download the pre-purchase pledge form here. Gathering pledges is a great way for us to indicate the amount of support we have when we approach outside sources of funding, and will help with our application for the Community Share Booster Scheme.

QUIZ NIGHT - 12.01.18 8PM AT THE BELL
